In four parts of the amazing JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure anime series, there have been more than a fair share of villains that give viewers reasons to shiver with fear.
How can I possibly choose among so many characters? By using my Stand, White Wedding, the task was fairly simple. From immortal vampires to menacing super freaks, these are the five best villains in JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure (the anime, of course).
5. Ultimate Kars
Alexander Kars was the leader of the Pillar Men. He entered the series in Battle Tendency and was looking for the Red Stone of Aja to transform himself into a perfect being. While Kars had respect for his comrades, he always thought it would cost them their lives.
Kars managed to become the perfect being, who was unkillable. He was more intelligent and powerful than any other character in Part 2, and it was only plot armor that ended up defeating him in the end.
DIO made his debut in Part 1, and then went on to make a comeback in Part 3. “The World’s Most Evil Creature” is easily the most iconic character in the series. With several cunning and malevolent schemes, he managed to pull from the fandom.
DIO has an undeniably charismatic personality, unmatched by any of the rest of the Villains in the series. He also possesses a very Strong Stand that halts time during fights.
3. Kira Yoshikage
Kira Yoshikage might be the most unique JoJo villains. He isn’t as ambitious as his other counterparts. Kira planned to remain anonymous and kill women to satiate his desires. As such, he never want over the world like so many of his cohorts did.
Kira became a unique character and his one Stand, Killer Queen, made him very versatile. The Stand has different types of bombs that allowed Kira to keep his identity hidden for many years.
2. Funny Valentine
While being the main obstacle in Johnny Joestar and Gyro Zeppeli, Funny Valentine had arguably the strongest Stand by himself. He didn’t lack strength however, so he was not an easy obstacle at all.
His ambition was so bold in wanting America to be the most powerful nation. Funny Valentine was highly focused on the country as his primary goal and was not hesitant to kill anyone who stood in his way.
1. Enrico Pucci
Enrico Pucci was the main villain of Stone Ocean. Before the beginning of Stone Ocean, Pucci spent a lot of time with DIO, and eventually, he was heavily influenced by the vampire. In his mind, he believed that what he was doing is right.
He wanted to create a world with nothing bad in it and he made it. He failed to realize that as long as he took away individuality, he would take away the reason to watch his show. With the power of Made in Heaven, Pucci was able to create an entirely new universe with the possibility of totally destroying everything. Towards the end, he had been one of the most powerful characters in Stone Ocean even before April healed him and repaired his sense of self-worth.
